2/12: Lowe Farm Records is proud to be releasing the debut album from Casey James Prestwood! Best known for his groundbreaking work as lead guitarist and driving force behind emo/indie staples Hot Rod Circuit, his debut solo album, The Hurtin' Kind will be released in April 2007. Showcasing his life-long passion for honky tonk from the good ol' days of country rock n roll, Prestwood's debut evokes memories of Gram Parsons and Merle Haggard. His band features a wide range of talent, from Arabella Harrison, who fronted emo pioneers Jejune, to Neil Flanz, steel player for Parsons himself.
Head over to the Lowe Farm or CJP MySpace pages to hear some tracks and pre-order your copy here for only $10 to receive an exclusive non-album track at the time of release. And check out tour dates with Limbeck and Hot Rod Circuit this spring.
1/16: Would you like a Texas Sapphires poster and a complimentary live CD? Everyone that orders a poster will also get a complimentary CD of their performance on KUT's Live Set that aired the day of the CD release show. The CD sounds great and includes exclusive songs not available anywhere else.
